About Franklin On Foot
Franklin On Foot Owner (founded 2003)
Visitors of all ages have enjoyed my guided walking tours of historic Franklin, Tennessee since 1997. I have a law degree, but history is my passion, and there's no better place than Franklin to pursue this interest. From the original Franklin city tour, I've developed crime, Civil War, ghosts, cemetery, children's tours and even food tours, all within Franklin's historic center. I've also written two books on Franklin, and am working on the third one.
Visitors often tell me, "I can really tell you love what you do. " And I do! And I love to share it with visitors through storytelling. I really believe there's no better way to experience a place than on a guided walking tour. . . and I hope you'll join me on mine.

Tour Guide (started April, 2016)
I'm an author and songwriter, but with Franklin on Foot, I have the best job in the world, (and the most beautiful office). I get to meet new people every day and show them around charming Franklin. I've long been a fan of walking tours. There's no substitute for a well-informed, enthusiastic tour guide. I love watching my guests become interested in history as I tell them tales of our past, and the people who once lived here. For me, there's no better feeling than when someone tells me they had a great time on my tour. Come join me. Have I got a story for you!

As someone whose family is from Franklin for many generations, I have always loved learning the fascinating history of the town. I am a historian and musician and love being a part of Franklin on Foot. It is a great way to meet people and let them experience the amazing stories Franklin has to offer!
